Switching power supplies have capacitors at the input, so they draw a large current for a short time when turned on. This can cause a problem, although the circuit breaker has a permanently low current, it still trips due to the high inrush current surge. With the MEAN WELL inrush current limiters this peak current can be significantly reduced, so more power supplies can be connected behind a given circuit breaker. This solution can save you significant costs.
